Handgun and Firearm Regulations

It is unlawful for any person to discharge shots, bullets, pellets or any other projectile from a firearm, air gun, spring gun, pellet gun, or other implement at any place within the limits of City of Vicksburg. It is also illegal for any person to point or brandish any firearm or object similar in appearance, whether capable of being fired or not, in a way that may reasonably induce fear in the mind of another. It is also illegal to carry hidden any other weapon, including a knife, razor, slingshot, metal knuckles, blackjack, nunchuck, or fighting chain. Violators of these ordinances will be guilty of a misdemeanor and the weapon will be seized by the City of Vicksburg Police Department.
