VTV Network
VTV is a full production Government Access Cable Television Station. We provide quality programs covering local issues and items of interest. Residents who subscribe to cable television service can view these programs on Government Channel 23. Live broadcasts consist of city board meetings, budget hearings, area organizational meetings and various other public meetings held in the city council board room and area offices. Special community related programs and notices are also provided that are beneficial to the community. A community calendar of events is also provided. No advertising is available or solicited by VTV.
What is Government Access Television?
Programming produced primarily by city, county, state and federal agencies and employees. VTV, is owned and operated by the City of Vicksburg. Part of Savethe franchise agreement with our cable operator pays the city for the use of the public right of ways. These funds, known as franchise fees, are used to support cable related activities. A portion of these funds is exclusively used to support Government Access Television. VTV can be viewed via web streaming, Vicksburg Video on CH 23, and U-Verse CH 99.
