Narcotics Division

The Narcotics Division of the City of Vicksburg Police Department is comprised of three officers who specialize in cases involving illegal drugs. These detectives are specifically trained to investigate crimes that not only affect the criminal, but also serve as a threat to the community as a whole. The unit works in alliance with other regional task forces to keep drugs out of Vicksburg and the surrounding areas. The division also conducts educational and enforcement programs in Vicksburg schools and public forums. They also have a canine unit that routinely assists in drug investigations.
