Arranging for Burial (Interment)

Arrangements for burial can be obtained directly from the City of Vicksburg City Clerk's Office or through area funeral directors working with the office. The cost for grave openings and closings varies according to the day of week and type of burial. Monday through Friday the cost of earth burial is $200.00 and vault burial is $250.00. For Saturday, Sunday and holidays the cost of earth burial is $350.00 and vault burial is $375.00.

Additional information can be obtained from the City of Vicksburg's Cedar Hill Cemetery office located at 326 Lovers Lane. The office is open from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
