Storage Shed Permits

A building permit is required for any storage building over 120 square feet. A building plan and site plan showing lot size, property lines, and the location of all existing and proposed buildings must be approved by the City of Vicksburg Building & Inspection Department and the Zoning Administrator before a building permit will be issued. No storage sheds are allowed in a front setback. Sheds with less than 120 square feet do not require a building permit but still requires approval from the Zoning Administrator.
