Construction Debris

Throughout the year, building and construction projects both big and small are in progress in various locations within City of Vicksburg. These projects range from office building construction to roadway alterations and are performed by both private contractors and government departments. Although certain inconveniences to the general public are to be expected during any type of construction, there may be circumstances where the accumulation of construction dirt, waste and debris upon the public right-of-way can become a problem outside of the normally anticipated disruptions.

Should you have a complaint or concern about the amount of debris or extent of obstruction caused by a construction project in your area, an inspector will come to the site the next business day to inspect the area and enforce the construction regulations if necessary.
