Picking up Tree Limbs

The City of Vicksburg has a contract with Waste Management to pick up tree limbs and other debris. Please follow the guidelines below to have the debris removed from your property.

• Limbs must be cut to equal 3 to 5ft long and no wider than 10 inches in diameter.
• Residents must place yard debris at the curbside for collection.
• Citizens are to call the Action Line  at 601.636.3411 or 601.801.3411 to make a request for debris pickup.

A work order to Waste Management is then generated by the Action Line. Waste Management has up to 7 business days to pick up debris from the day the work order was generated by the Action Line.  Limbs will be picked up on the customer's second trash pick up day of the week.

Reminders:

• Action Line hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5PM, excluding holidays.
• Waste Management does not pick up construction debris.
• Waste Management does not pick up at businesses unless they are paying for that service.
