 The City of Vicksburg Parks and Recreation Department sponsors a youth baseball program at the Halls Ferry Park. The league is composed of 5 age group divisions open to youths age 5 to 15. The divisions are: Division 1 - 5 to 6 year olds, Division 2 - 7 to 8 year olds, Division 3 - 9 to 10 year olds, Division 4 - 11 to 12 year olds, Division 5 - 13 - 15 year olds. All ages are determined as of July 31 of each year.Registration for youth fall baseball is held in August of each year. Usually teams are formed according to school. Play usually begins in September and last until October. Games are usually played on Saturday. Teams typically play 2 games per week and practice 1 other day per week. All games and practices are held at Halls Ferry Park.
