 The City of Vicksburg Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of athletic programs and opportunities for citizen participation. Some are directly sponsored by the Parks and Recreation department, while others are offered in conjunction with another organization. Registration for athletic programs occurs 7 times a year on a seasonal basis .Registration information is available in the City of Vicksburg Parks and Recreation Department program guide and is also announced through local media, including Government access Television channel 23 (TV23), and is available on the Parks and Recreation Department at www.vicksburg.org. Keep in mind that some athletic programs require you to register as a team and others offer you the opportunity to simply join a team. Registration fees vary by activity; it is best to consult a program guide to find out costs and fees for each.
