The City of Vicksburg Fire Department logs a report of all fires that occur inside the city limits of Vicksburg. The report includes the stations and personnel that responded, the time they responded, the location and nature of the blaze, injuries or deaths sustained during the emergency, and even probable cause of the fire. Depending on the type of fire, you may need to contact several agencies or departments to obtain the information you desire. If this is the case, the City of Vicksburg Fire Department will be able to direct you to the proper department or agency.
To request a fire report, stop by the City of Vicksburg's City Clerk's office on the second floor of City Hall, 1401 Walnut Street, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. You will be asked to complete an open records request before a fire report can be released.
