 The 25th annual Riverfest will be held April 20-21, 2012 featuring the43rd Annual Arts and Crafts Festival as well as live entertainment from 7pm to 12am nightly. Gates for nightly events will open at 6pm. Attendance for Saturday Daytime Activities is free and parking is free for the whole weekend! Admission for Friday and Saturday night entertainment is $20 for a night passand $35 for a weekend pass. Also joining us for a fourth year in a row is Burt Fleming of Wood Be Creations. Burt offers a wide variety of subject matter for the "wood-b-carver" to choose from: birds, people, fish, and animals. Ricky Noble "cartoonist" will be on at the end of Crawford. Zumba will be on the 1100 block. The Vicksburg Farmers Market will be on the 1400 Block along with Kids Activities. Be sure to check out the wonderful produce and art! While you are downtown enjoying the fabulous sidewalk sales, being entertained by Burt Fleming, and shopping with the Vicksburg Farmers' Market, stop by and see the great Daytime performers that will be performing near North Stage. Gospelfest will take place on the North Stage from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be children activities galore for kids of all ages! Make sure you join us for street dancing Friday and Saturday night to bands playing classic rock, country-western, rhythum and blues, and contemporary soul. Friday nights lineup features country music sensation Easton Corbin and also the Honey Island Swamp Band, Band Camp, Jason Jones, and the Dirty Guv'nahs. Saturday night's lineup features the Dirty DozenBrass Band, Bobby Rush, Patrick Smith & Co., The Projekt Blues Bands and The Chill and The Chill. |
