VICKSBURG: The State's Rapid Response Team will meet with former employees of the Grand Station Casino to discuss re-employment and training assistance at the Vicksburg Public Library Meeting Room, 700 Veto Street, on Thursday, April 5, 2012. "I appreciate the Mississippi Employment Division for their quick response in aiding the former employees of the casino," said Mayor Winfield. "
Our administration is committed to serving our citizens in need. We will continue to work with suitable investors to promote a successful acquisition of the casino," said Winfield. The former employees of Grand Station will discuss unemployment insurance, job opportunities, job placement assistance, entrepreneurship, children's health insurance program and home saver programs.
Employees with the last names ending in A thru H will be seen at 9 am, and employees with last names ending in J thru Z will be seen at 11 am. |
